I purchased the Zondervan NIV Study Bible a number of months ago, and I couldn't be happier. I had been looking for a bible that included maps and additional references, and this bible provided that and so much more. I especially like the notes at the bottom for almost every verse, as well as the introductory information provided at the beginning of each section.

So, for anyone looking for an updated version of the bible that is easy to follow and provides added information and references, this bible is for you.

Expensive Book at good price in good shape.        Rating:

I always go to Amazon b/c I know they will have the book I need and they always have choices of the book I want to buy. This is the second time I have bought this book from them. Both books are in great condition for an incredible price.
I was able to give them as gifts.

Bible study        Rating:

The book arrived in good shape and packaged well. I use it in my study at church called EFM(education for ministry) Its has been a good source for first year study.

Very nice study bible        Rating:

This is a very nice study bible, lots of great notes and information, but still a standard size for carrying to sunday school/adult ed and to services.

Solid and durible NIV        Rating:

This is the Bible (the leather version) that I have used since college. It has served me well. The NIV is a reliable and readable translation. I prefer the Study Bible versions because they have ample footnotes that give additional background information to help the reader understand the passages on that page. The NIV has a good reading flow.
