Great book        Rating:

My 6y old son loves bionicles so I bougth this book for him to read. I have to recognize I was a little concerned about the book but for my surprise Im very pleased with it.
Even though reading level is 5.2, I recommend the book for any good reader (3.0 and up) with some Bionicle knowdledge.
I dont know why these books are not more popular..

BIONICLE Chronicles: #1 Tale of the Toa        Rating:

This is the first book in the Chronicle series.

Summary:
The Great Spirit Mata Nui has given the ones called the Matoran and island paradise. But Mata Nui's brother, the Makuta, betrays him, and casts him and the island in shadow. Legend said that six Toa would help to awaken Mata Nui. Time would tell that these weren't legends, as the Toa did appear on the land. Together, they pledged to defend Mata Nui.

What Happens:
The six Toa - Tahu, Gali, Lewa, Kopaka, Pohatu, Onua - arrive on the island with no memory of one another. They meet and decide to find the Kanohi, Great Masks of Power. Then Kopaka, the Toa of Ice, has a vision to go under a temple. They go under the temple, where they encounter the Manas (see BIONICLE encyclopedia for information). They merge into Toa Kaita Akamai and Wairuha (you can make theses sets if you collect the six Toa Mata). Then they face the Shadow Toa, dark versions of themselves. They win.

I think this book is great. My favorite character in this book is Tahu. The reason I think this book is great is because it is about lego heroes saving an island called "Mata Nui."

I think this book is really great. I think that this is good for kids that are 14 also because that is my age. I have had the book and i had not gotten to read it yet. When i did read it i thought it was a fun book to read with a lot of action.
