Product Description

The Toa have acquired new armor, new tools, new powers and a new name: Toa Nuva. But these new abilities do not mean that their mission is finished. They must still defeat Makuta. To do this, they will need to find six new masks. Known as the Kanohi Nuva, these are the most powerful of all the Masks of Power. The quest will not be easy. Makuta and his forces will try to stop them at every turn, but the Toa Nuva must succeed if they are to save the island of Mata Nui. These are the stories behind the legends. The stories of how the Toa Nuva found the Kanohi Nuva.

Hmmm....        Rating:

While the overall Bionicle storyline is indeed good, I found the writing of this book itself to be...rather dry. It failed to suck me into the story, hardcore Bionicle fan though I am. Same with most of the other books, to be honest, although that could just be my own personal tastes talking.

My children love these books!        Rating:

Very quick shipping. My boys love the bionicles and they have these read in one day.

Superriffic Books in a set !!!!!        Rating:

I've read all of those books and none of them have ever been stupid. And now it's in a set! I wish I could have them!

True Floridian Bionicle Fan

Sparks boys' imagination        Rating:

Normally I would shy away from buying books with a product link, but I have found both the Bionicle toys and the books to stimulate my son's creativity. Building Bionicles helps builds mechanical intuition as children experience the working of gears and joints. And the books give their readers a sense of legend, heroism, and mystery, which they can then apply to imaginative play or even their own writing. To an adult picking them up at random, the books present a seemingly impenetrable confusion of names and terms, but children readily master this new world.

There is a lot of talk about what kinds of books we need to motivate boys to become fluent readers. I would nominate these books. Of course, there is nothing to say that girls can't enjoy them, too!
