Great starting place for Estates Law
Rating:
I practice strictly estate planning, probate and elder law. After reading this excellent guide to estate planning, I can't, for the life of me, understand why my law school professors didn't use this book in my estates and trusts courses. It is by far the most down-to-earth, "just give me the facts, ma'am," clearly organized and comprehensive book on estate planning that I have come across yet. Some chapters are not quite as detailed as I would have liked them to be, but are nevertheless a great starting point. I find that I am reaching for this book on a regular basis as I need a quick review of a topic. It is certainly worth having on your shelf.
