Product Description

Making, keeping, and enjoying money isn’t just about investments, salaries, inheritances, or dividends, according to Deborah Price. It’s also about the games people play around money and their character type in relation to it. In Money Magic, Price shows readers how to stop making fear-based money choices and how to transform their relationship with money to obtain the wealth they desire. The book is structured around eight "types": the Innocent (the ostrich approach); the Victim (blaming circumstances); the Warrior (conquering money); the Martyr (always rescuing someone); the Fool (gambler looking for a windfall); the Creator/Artist (regarding money as evil); the Tyrant (controlling through money); and the Magician (benefiting spiritually and financially from money). The Magician is the book’s ideal, and Price offers exercises to help readers attain it.

Rehash of her other book        Rating:

I was just about done with Money Therapy and I wanted to see if she had written anything else. Well all she did was make a few tiny changes, the chapters, paragraph beginnings are all the same. I think I did see a couple of new graphics in it. Worse is the stories. I was hoping she would have some happy stories, instead Ellen is still there, she sells everything and lives a paupers life. Jeez, she could have put her money in a trust and donated the income or saved it for a rainy day.

If you want to read it and not follow the exercises (like most people)it's okay. I would only recommend it if you are willing to put the work in and do each exercise as it comes up, otherwise save your money.

Fabulous book!        Rating:

Just bought and read this book recently, and I have already recommended it to my smartest friends.

Not read...purchased as a gift.        Rating:

Purchased this item as a gift. Didn't hear any complaints from the person I gave it to. I suppose it was OK.

This book is Magic!        Rating:

I just finished reading "Money Magic" by Deborah L. Price. It is by far the best book I have ever read regarding our relationship with money. She starts by sharing an interesting history of money, then moves into the spiritual realms of our relationship with money, and then describes eight types of relationships people have with money. She finishes by outlining how to become a money magician.

I highly recommend this book to anyone struggling to define their relationship with money.
