Amazon.com No stranger to the realm of children's records, They Might Be Giants have seen success with their CD No! and the book and CD combo Bed, Bed, Bed. Their latest CD, Here Come The ABCs, offers up twenty-five alphabetically themed songs. However, as is their charming way, the two Johns (Flansburgh and Linnell), use the letters as merely the connective tissue, allowing them to pursuit intriguing flights of fancy that consider everything from the relative power of letters and sounds to animal hijinks. Just as they've always done, there are wistful ballads and high octane rockers. TMBG have always been a family-friendly band, and this disc works just fine for adult fans, who can rightfully consider this simply their newest release. -- David Greenberger Exclusive Video from They Might Be Giants Exclusive Video (high bandwith) | Exclusive Video (low bandwith) | Three Cool Kids Cds Puffy Amiyumi ~ Hi Hi [SOUNDTRACK] | NRBQ ~ You're Nice People You Are | Dan Zanes ~ Parades and Panoramas | [ ^Top ]

This is my favorite children's video. My husband and I enjoy watching it with our son, age 4. I highly recommend it.
Awesome DVD!

My son absolutely loves this DVD! He began watching it when he was about 17 months old. He was reciting the entire alphabet by 18 months old, pointing out letters in street signs and in books, and identifying them out of alphabetical order. The songs are a welcome break from ordinary kids music. I can't tell you how many times this DVD has played in our house, and I still find the songs catchy and amusing.
Great CD for children and not annoying for adults

You gotta love being able to find a children's CD that your children love, they learn from, it's fun for them to sing and dance to, and best of all, tolerable for parents. TMBG make learning the alphabet fun and silly for children. The album is full of catchy songs that stick in your head. That's not such a bad thing for children who are learning their ABC's. I would rather they have a song about the ABC's stuck in their head than some dumb 'I love you, you love me' crud. My two-year-old son loves the 'No' album by TMBG so we got this one for him too and he loves it just as much.
Awesome CD for my ABC obsessed Preschooler

My three year old loves loves loves this cd it not only entertains him but has helped him learn too. a lot of the songs are very educational, and unlike some kid cd's once you get to know the songs you will find yourself singing along as well. A great addition to your collection.
Not up to my expectations

I've read a lot of reviews for this album, so I though it would be a slam dunk purchase. I can't say that I hate this CD, but I don't love it either. My 18-mo-old daughter seems to be indifferent to the music. Maybe it will grow on us.
