Editorial Review

Although it looks a lot like a big mechanical bug, the Oonorak, in the complex mythology of the Lego Bionicle series, is actually a pretty sophisticated intelligence operative. It uses both telepathy and a talent for mimicry to masquerade as other people (and, presumably other mechanical bugs) as part of the ongoing battle in Metru Nui. The Oohnorak is not one of the evil masterminds of the operation but a loyal follower. Back here on Earth, this is a 47-piece Lego set that features a spinning circular projectile that can be fired about 30 to 40 feet across a room, according to our informal test. --Charlie Williams
