Well made; quality materials        Rating:

This is a good looking, well made article made of a soft leather that feels good to touch. The only reason that I did not give it five stars was that it was a little small for my Bible.

This is the best item I have purchased for the price. I always like to read reviews when purchasing items, and I must say I was very skeptical when deciding to order this item. The negative reviews were very convincing; however, for the price I ordered 2, thinking to myself if it wasn't to my satisfaction I could always return them. I held my breath as I opened the package hoping the negative reviews were incorrect. Surprise and amazement could not describe the words for this item. I fail to understand why people wrote negative reviews. The 2 bible covers are perfect in every way. The craftmanship is exceptional, the leather perfect; therefore, I strongly recommend if you are thinking of purchasing this item, do it! You will be extremely satisfied with the purchase.

Unfortunately, all the local Christian bookstores in my area have been run out of business by Zondervan. And Zondervan isn't selling any quality Bible covers anymore, only cheaply made chinese junk. And the local stores are charging double the price you can buy online for. I also went to a local Barnes and Noble store, and all they had were the same cheap Zondervan covers!

I knew buying online would be taking a chance for getting a good fit, but Zondervan left me no choice.

I ordered the X-large size for a hardcover ESV study Bible. If you have not seen the ESV study Bible, trust me, it is BIG! And this cover fits it perfectly. I am very happy with how it turned out.

The cover came in plastic wrapping, and when I first opened it the smell was very strong. This is real leather, and they use some type of chemicals to soften and/or colr it.

After trying it for size, I put it out in the garage for a couple days to air out. The strong smell is now gone.

Some of the other reviewers are criticizing the materials or workmanship. Someone should remind them that you normally do not get a quality leather product such as this one for such a low price!

If you have a hardcover ESV study Bible, it fits, but be sure to order X-large!

59 Years Without One - But This One is Good        Rating:

I've never felt I needed a cover for my Bible before, but I recently got a new RSV-CE Bible with a lot of gold stamping on the cover that I want to preserve, so I ordered this cover. It is well made and a bargain for the money. No complaints, but two of the zippered pockets are hard to get anything into and out of when the cover is zipped closed. Minor inconvenience because I didn't buy the cover for this feature.

Shipping was no problem, I received the cover in five days.

Great Cover        Rating:

This arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. It seems slightly smaller than other similar size L covers. It took a bit of stretching and finangling, but I did get it to fit though. I would recommend this to others, as it was a very good deal for the relatively low cost.
